As with all expansions and updates user mods may prevent the game from working as it should. If you encounter such an issue please disable all your mods and try again. Should it work you know that the mods are the problem, however, we are unable to provide you a list with what mods are compatible and which mods aren’t.

Now, follow the below steps to fix the issue most probably.

  • Make sure that the Traffic++ mod isn’t compatible with the Snowfall version. So, if you’re using the Traffic++ mod, then we will recommend you to disable or uninstall it for the newly saved game files.
  • You can load and Traffic++ mod in the “ghost mode” for old saves that are compatible and it should work well.
  • Next, launch the Steam client on your PC.
  • Go to the Library > Right-click on the Cities: Skylines > Select Properties.
